Dan Sells Spec Horror Screenplay “Do or Die” To Qwerty Films
Dan is delighted to announce that he has sold his original teen horror spec screenplay Do or Die to producer and former Head of Polygram Entertainment Michael Kuhn’s Qwerty Films.
Under Michael’s stewardship, Polygram Filmed Entertainment made and distributed over 100 feature films which between them won 14 Academy Awards. These films included Four Weddings And A Funeral, Notting Hill, Dead Man Walking, The Usual Suspects, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, Elizabeth, Trainspotting and Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.
Michael was awarded the BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award in 1999 which was the year in which he set up Qwerty and he was appointed Chair of the National Film and Television School in 2002.
Dan is looking forward to working with Michael and his Head of Development Alexandra Arlango on the project which tells the story of a group of high school friends who start receiving a series of anonymous threatening emails that escalate out of control and pit the close-knit community of their small town against one another in a desperate effort to stay alive.
