Screenwriter Dan Bronzite Releases Scriptwriting Software
Dan is pleased to announce the release of new screenwriting software Movie Outline — a brand new Windows desktop application for step-outlining and story structuring a movie screenplay for both the Amateur and Professional Screenwriter.
“I’ve tried various other story planning software but none of them did the trick. Mainly because they weren’t designed specifically for the screenwriting process and it felt as if they were constructed by mathematicians with over-complicated un-user-friendly interfaces that only added to the clutter of my mind,” said Dan who personally developed the software and published it through his company Darc Productions.
“All I wanted was a simple way to plan my story structure and organize my creative thoughts before jumping into a full screenplay and so I decided to design and develop an app myself.”
What is Movie Outline?
Movie Outline is an innovative step-outlining application allowing screenwriters to plan the structure of their screen story before writing the screenplay. It enables simple story planning with flexible scene reorganization and simultaneous reference to successful Hollywood movies. By streamlining the creation process of the entire outline structure, Movie Outline gives the screenwriter the space to think while constructing their story.
How can Movie Outline help me?
Many novice screenwriters make the mistake of jumping into a full screenplay before properly preparing their story and cinematic structure. This often results in many unnecessary rewrites, unfocused themes, flawed character arcs and plots that lose direction. That’s why Movie Outline was conceived – to take the complexity out of the outlining process and give you the space to think and plan your script scene by scene while simultaneously being able to compare your own story pacing with outlines and analyses of successful movies.
Movie Outline’s unique Reference Outline feature gives the Screenwriter the added advantage of assessing their own structure and story pacing in comparison to successful movies in the same genre. By comparing the development of your own character arcs, escalating conflicts, plot turning points and three act structure with the pros, you will be able to amend mistakes in your own narrative pacing and produce a well-structured screen story.
