Drama Fantasy Short Film Starts Production

Dan commences principal photography today on location in London of his latest short film All That Glitters. The ambitious self-funded drama fantasy stars Sophia Myles and Alec Newman and tells the story of a desperate teenager who snatches a rich woman’s handbag, but in a bizarre twist of fate discovers that her life is not as rosy as it seems and that they have more in common than he realizes.

This marks the first production for Dan’s new Essex-based production company Buckle Up Entertainment which aims to develop a slate of commercial elevated genre film and television series for the global market.

“Nobody thinks that shooting in the midst of the pandemic with another potential lockdown looming is ideal or is going to be easy,” says Dan “but sometimes when everything falls into place you just have to go for it and make it work – despite the many obstacles and Covid restrictions.”
